MapleStory Classic World client changelog: Public Release to the Grand Launch

Seventeen new. Two bosses: Stumpy, level 35, in the new Parched Land, and Faust, level 65, with no spawn in the export. Eight for the Excavation Site: Ghost Stump, Wooden Mask and Rocky Mask on the dig itself, and Skeledog, Mummydog, Skeleton Soldier, Officer Skeleton and Commander Skeleton (level 73) in the Remains and the camps. Five arrived ahead of the Moon Bunny’s Rice Cake party quest, which the roadmap puts on 18 November: the Moon Bunny, and two Stirges, a Flyeye and Goblin Fire on Primrose Hill. And another Flyeye and a training dummy, with no map. Of the 15 revised, nine spawn somewhere new, Lupin and Tortie attack every 5 seconds instead of 3, and five are harder to knock back: Copper Drake, Tortie, Drake and Red Drake twice as hard, Wild Kargo three times (375 to 1,125). The export also stopped writing the regular 7.56-second respawn on each spawn; that is a change in the export, not the game, and it is not counted here.

Thirty-one new: Free Market rooms 12 to 20, the twelve maps of the Excavation Site (three dig sites, its camp, four Remains tombs, the cliff and three camps), Parched Land off East Rocky Mountain V, Shade’s Cabin of the Forsaken under a new id behind a second Murky Swamp, and the two Housing templates (the Yellow Mushroom House and the Backalley Semi-Basement) and a developer room. Five more arrived ahead of their 18 November date: Primrose Hill, Pig Town, Back to Town and two Shortcuts, the stages of the Moon Bunny’s Rice Cake party quest. Of the 12 revised, five Sleepy Dungeon and subway maps spawn less (Sleepy Dungeon V from ×0.6 to ×0.4), the old cabin is The Murky Swamp II now, Henesys gained Malady and Kerning City the Maple Administrator, and Rocky Road III leads to the Excavation Site.

Nothing new or gone. Of the 12 revised, the eight 2nd-job Final Attack skills last 60 seconds instead of 30, Improved HP Recovery and Iron Body start at 20% instead of 5%, Improved MP Recovery at 10% instead of 5%, and Dark Sight needs Disorder at level 3 instead of 1.

Nothing new. Two revised: the Pumpkin Basket lost its +1 to every stat, hits for 27 instead of 24, is a step slower and now asks for level 10, and Mark of the Beta went from 15 DEF to 24, asks for level 25 and sells for 1,500 mesos.

38 new: 14 pieces of housing (twelve boss trophies and paintings, from the Mano Statue to the Crimson Balrog Helmet, and two safes), 15 etc items (eight monster drops, Seedling to Horse Skull, and seven quest items) and nine consumables, the two new Lie Detector Tests and the MapleStory Community VIP gift box and coupons among them. Of the 82 revised, 62 sell for less (52 of them for 10 mesos instead of 100), 14 changed whether they trade (four Frieren collaboration face coupons are locked now, ten housing pieces, the six crafting stations among them, are not), 13 were reworded and five changed their stack size.

27 new: the five-quest snail story in Henesys, eight in Perion that lead to Stumpy, four Citizenship quests about owning a home, and ten Forgotten Hollow quests from level 45 to 55, which arrived ahead of the area’s 18 November date and whose maps are not in the client yet. The 52 revised were reworded, 38 of them Citizenship requests; the one count that moved is The Filing Error’s, 50 Torn Ledger Pages to 25.

18 new recipes, all of them for housing: the six crafting stations (100,000 mesos each), a reinforced safe and a reinforced chest (300,000), eight pieces of furniture and two for Processed Wood. One revised: The Red Relaxer pays 100 craft EXP instead of 30.

Another re-listing of the catalog. 227 lines are gone and 111 are new, nearly all of them equipment, and not one of the 227 was on sale. 84 of the 111 revised kept their id and changed what it names (1027058 was the Classic Masquerade Mask and is Pink Sunglasses). What a player can buy moved less: the three Megaphones went off sale under their old lines and on sale under new ones, at 350 and 1,500 NX, and the Mystery Fashion Crate, the Halloween Mystery Fashion Crate and the two Beauty Album slot films went on sale.
