Classic World client changelog: Closed Online Test 1 to 2

About this page· 10 sections

What it is

Two client exports compared field by field, not Nexon’s patch notes, so it shows changes nobody announced. It can’t say why something changed: a typo fix and a rebalance look the same.

What it misses

Drop rates, shop stock and quiz answers live on the server, so they never show up here. Some of what arrived, like Orbis and 3rd job, was held back from the Public Release; this site keeps those pages, marked CoT2.

Closed Online Test 2 is dated 4 August at the end of the older diff and 11 August at the start of the newer one, and both are right: the first was made from the build the test opened on, the second from the one its 11 August balance maintenance left. What that maintenance changed (Rush’s cooldown went from 3 seconds to 1, for one) is in neither diff.

From the OSMS Data Explorer datamine of 5 August 2026. More on the sources.

New 189 Changed 267 Removed 839

The largest single movement in the file, and the least meaningful: the second build re-listed the shop wholesale. Most of the removed rows are unnamed placeholder slots that carried an id and nothing else. Prices in the second test were beta placeholders, not final.
