About this page

What it is

Two client exports compared field by field, not Nexon’s patch notes, so it shows changes nobody announced. It can’t say why something changed: a typo fix and a rebalance look the same.

What it misses

Drop rates, shop stock and quiz answers live on the server, so they never show up here. Some of what arrived, like Orbis and 3rd job, was held back from the Public Release; this site keeps those pages, marked CoT2.

Closed Online Test 2 is dated 4 August at the end of the older diff and 11 August at the start of the newer one, and both are right: the first was made from the build the test opened on, the second from the one its 11 August balance maintenance left. What that maintenance changed (Rush’s cooldown went from 3 seconds to 1, for one) is in neither diff.

A hundred and forty-eight new quest lines, and on the ones already there a rewrite: 169 of the 170 revised quests had their wording changed and 46 had their rewards changed. Level gates and NPCs barely moved.

I ran into Shumi again at Kerning City. A while ago, she got a favor from JM From tha Streetz to get some Screws for him, only to have the sack of money fall down and lose everything in the process. I guess I can find the sack of money in the deep part of the subway station, the Construction Site B3, again.

I ran into Shumi again at Kerning City. A while ago, she was doing a favor for JM From tha Streetz and getting some Screws for him. But the Sack of Cash he gave her to buy them fell out of her pocket while she was walking around in the subway, and she lost it. She said it fell deep into the subway station, to Construction Site B3.

I found Shumi's lost Money Sack in the Kerning City subway. Shumi can now buy what JM From tha Streetz asked for. I received mesos and some potions as a gift. I should go to Construction Site B3 in the subway to look for more stuff.

I met a fisherman named John in Lith Harbor. He wanted to get his wife a nice flower basket for their upcoming anniversary. He asked me if I could get him 10 Pink Violas for her. According to him, a Mysterious Statue can lead me to where the flower is. Sleepywood... Sleepywood That's FAR!!!

In front of the Sleepywood Hotel, I met Sabitrama, a medicinal herb trader who seems to be the younger brother of Chrishrama. He said he found a place where he can finally find the herb that he needed for this medicine he's working on... and he asked if I could go in that forest and grab an herb called Pink Anthurium. It consists of green grass and a small pink flower... I should remember this well and get him the exact same one. I heard the place is near Ellinia... I should go there and talk to this guy Shane...

Oh, and he also said that from here on out, I can enter the Forest of Patience without having to pay Shane of Ellinia. From what I've heard, the diet medicine Sabitrama's working on is for Shane's fiance... I better get back in the Forest of Patience when I have some time...

On a lonely building rooftop in Kerning City, I met a boy named Alex who ran away from home because of a disagreement with his father, Chief Stan in Henesys. But Alex has become exhausted from being on the run with no money. Now he wants to return home and try to work things out with his strict, but loving, father. But he wants me to persuade his father not to punish him when he returns home. He also says he wants me to bring the Old Gold Watch his mother left him when she died as proof that I successfully persuaded his father.

I'll need to defeat 30 Octopuses and collect 20 Octopus Legs. I'll also need 1 Pure Water. Once I've gathered everything, I should bring it to Nella.
